At Oryx Communities, we believe that community extends beyond our homes and into the wider communities we are fortunate to be part of.

Recently, our team came together to support the Dogs’ Refuge Home of WA, donating a ute-load of towels and blankets to help provide comfort and care for dogs in need.

A Simple Donation That Makes a Difference

Towels and blankets might seem like everyday essentials, but for a refuge caring for dogs who are waiting for their next chapter, they are incredibly useful.

From keeping dogs warm and comfortable to helping with everyday cleaning and care, these practical donations can make a genuine difference to the work carried out by the team and volunteers at the refuge.

Our Oryx team was delighted to be able to contribute, filling a ute with donated towels and blankets before making the trip to the Dogs’ Refuge Home.

Supporting a Community We Care About

Animals have a special ability to bring people together. We see this within our own communities, where visits from pets and animals can bring smiles, spark memories and create meaningful moments for our residents.

That connection makes supporting organisations that care for animals particularly meaningful to us.

The Dogs’ Refuge Home works tirelessly to care for dogs in need, providing them with shelter, rehabilitation and the opportunity to find loving forever homes. We were proud to play a small part in supporting that work.

Community Is About Looking Out for One Another

At Oryx Communities, we value being part of the neighbourhoods and communities around us. Sometimes, making a difference doesn’t require a grand gesture — it can be as simple as recognising a need and coming together to help.

Our ute-load of towels and blankets was a small contribution, but one we were very happy to make.

A big thank you to the Dogs’ Refuge Home team and volunteers for the incredible work they do for dogs across our community. We’re proud to support you and the important work you do. 🐾🧡
