An essential residential aged care home planned for the residents of Nedlands.

As with all Oryx creations, The Melvista Nedlands, will offer a new standard in aged care to people looking for a personalised experience.

Oryx Communities engages in innovative, personalised and high-quality aged care solutions that allow people to thrive.

We believe in living lives full of vitality, no matter what your age, and we can achieve this through understanding, respect and advocacy. Guided by this, Oryx  Communities genuinely affirm senior citizens’ life achievements whilst providing comfort and reassurance of security and health services.

Everyone deserves a chance to keep living in the area they’ve called home for years. Yet currently, one in five older residents who require care is unable to access it locally. The Melvista Nedlands will provide residents access to high-quality amenities to ensure they are supported and comfortable in their new home. The opportunity for residents to remain in their local community as an aged person is fundamental to positive outcomes in the later stages of life.

Planned to accommodate 80 aged care rooms and suites, the residence will be configured to allow flexibility in catering for aged residents with a diverse range of care requirements across the full spectrum, from low care assistance to high care needs. Expected completion by mid-2025.
