Celebrating the wonderful dads, grandads, and father figures who make our community so special. 💙 Happy Father’s Day!

We had such a lovely time celebrating Father’s Day across our communities this year! In the lead-up to the big day, the Lifestyle team at The Richardson Aged Care (West Perth, Subiaco) organised a special morning tea and a fun arts and crafts session. Residents had a wonderful time getting creative with handmade cards – some were gifted to partners and family members, while others were proudly kept as personal keepsakes. The activity was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of imagination.

On Father’s Day itself, residents at The Richardson gathered for a cosy afternoon tea. The room was filled with tasty treats, hot drinks, and plenty of conversation. It was a joy to see so many residents chatting, reminiscing, and sharing stories together.

Meanwhile, at The Queenslea Aged Care (Claremont, Swanbourne), our residents came together in the café for a festive morning tea. The café was buzzing with warmth and laughter as families and residents enjoyed delicious food and each other’s company. It was a truly special way to mark the occasion and celebrate the wonderful fathers and grandfathers in our community.

At The Melvista Aged Care (Nedlands, Dalkeith), Father’s Day was also a time to gather, celebrate, and honour the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who are such an important part of our home. The spirit of appreciation and togetherness was very much alive.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the residents who joined in the activities and to the families who came along to share the celebrations. Father’s Day was a beautiful reminder of the importance of coming together and cherishing those we love most.
