Belly Dancing at The Richardson
Residents at The Richardson were recently treated to a truly memorable experience, welcoming acclaimed performer Mizirakli Banu for a vibrant belly dancing performance that filled the home with music, movement, and smiles.

The performance was a feast for the senses. Flowing costumes, expressive movement, and rhythmic music created an atmosphere of joy and energy, captivating residents from the very first moment. Many residents clapped along, tapped their feet, and enjoyed the unfolding performance.
Live entertainment is one of our favourite activities for our lifestyle programs at Oryx Communities. It offers residents opportunities to engage with different cultures, experience the arts, and enjoy meaningful social moments together. Events like this encourage connection, stimulate the senses, and bring variety and excitement into daily life.
Mizirakli Banu’s performance was not only entertaining but also inclusive and engaging, creating a shared experience that brought residents together and sparked plenty of conversation long after the music ended. It was a wonderful reminder of the positive impact that live performances can have on wellbeing and quality of life in aged care.
At The Richardson, The Queenslea and The Melvista, our Lifestyle Teams are committed to creating enriching experiences that support physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. We are grateful to performers like Mizirakli Banu who help us bring these special moments to life for our residents.
