Halloween Fun and Festivities at Oryx Communities 🎃

This Halloween, residents at The Melvista Aged Care, along with neighbours at The Richardson Aged Care and The Queenslea Aged Care, celebrated the season with creativity, festive decorations, and joyful surprises. From pumpkin painting to a Halloween morning tea and trick-or-treat visitors, our communities came together to share laughter, smiles, and lasting memories.

In the lead-up to Halloween, residents enjoyed adding a festive touch to their communities with spooky decorations, pumpkins, and creative displays. At The Melvista, residents also took part in a series of Halloween-inspired art and craft sessions, painting pumpkins and creating colourful décor to brighten their home.

The celebrations continued with a Halloween morning tea filled with themed treats and friendly conversation. The highlight of the day was a surprise visit from local children trick-or-treating, which brought plenty of laughter and joy to everyone involved. Seeing generations come together through simple, happy moments like these is always a wonderful reminder of the community spirit that thrives at Oryx.
