Aged Care Employee Day 2025

On the 7th of August, we proudly celebrated Aged Care Employee Day—a special occasion to recognise the dedication, compassion, and tireless commitment of the incredible team members who care for our residents every single day.

To mark the occasion, our teams from The Queenslea and The Richardson came together to celebrate one another and honour our colleagues at the Long Service Awards—recognising those who have been with the company for one year or more. These awards are a small token of our sincere appreciation for the ongoing dedication and contributions of our valued team members.

We were also proud to present Employee of the Year awards to two outstanding individuals, Tashi Pem and Colette Martin, whose hard work, commitment, and positive influence continue to make a lasting impact on both their colleagues and the residents they care for.

The celebration was made even more special with a feast of delicious food prepared by our talented chefs. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, gratitude, and connection as team members shared stories, laughter, and reflections on the meaningful work they do every day.

“Aged Care Employee Day is about more than just recognition—it’s a chance to pause and say thank you to the people who make a huge difference in the lives of our residents every day,” said Davis Rath, General Manager at The Richardson.

From support staff to carers, nurses, and team leads, each person plays a vital role in creating a compassionate and supportive environment for those in our care.

We are incredibly proud of our team and grateful for everything they do—not just today, but every day.

Happy Aged Care Employee Day to all our exceptional staff!
